What is new in 2.8 for video operators

Change display name for a participant

You can now change the display name for a participant who is in an active meeting. See Change display name for a participant.

Search for contacts when you add participants

If your administrator has added TMS phonebooks to Meeting Management you can search for contacts when you add participants to a meeting. See Add participants.

See who is in the lobby

Previously, participants in the lobby would appear in the general participant list as connected participants. In this release they will appear in the meeting details in the top left corner. See Find participants or Lock or unlock a meeting.

Lock or unlock a meeting

In this release you can lock a meeting so no more people with guest profiles can enter the meeting. For instructions and information about limitations, see Lock or unlock a meeting.
