Why can't I dial the Call ID of a space on a Meeting Server?

Possibly the call ID is not unique.

A feature of the Call Bridge is that it supports one or more PSTN phone numbers for dialing into the IVR, and also supports connections via the Web Bridge. In both of these cases, to be able to join a space you need to enter the call ID for the space that you want to join.

In a multi-tenant environment, it is not possible to determine which tenant you are calling from (or connecting from), which means that the call ID you use has to be unique on the Call Bridge so that the space does not clash with a space for any other configured tenant. Dialable IDs (URIs) for spaces aren't as restricted because the domain of the URI determines which tenant the call is for: multiple tenants can use "test.space" for example, because this might be dialed as "test.space@company1.com" for one tenant and "test.space@company2.com" for another tenant.

Note: the secondary uri of the space can be set to the same numeric value as the Call ID, thus enabling users to dial the same number to reach a space as they would to access it through the Web Bridge or IVR.
